DCI to commercially launch handloom denim apparels (1)
Denim Club India (DCI) will be commercially launching handloom denim products by showcasing a complete range of fabric, Ralph Lauren Polo Shirts Sale garments, accessories and home furnishing items made out of handloom denim at the upcoming InDIGO 2012 fair to be held on April 20-21, 2012 at Gurgaon, near New Delhi in India.
Successful weaving of denim on handlooms is a very recent development. Speaking to fibre2fashion, Mr. Rajesh Dudeja, Founder of DCI, said, “DCI has developed handloom denim with the help, guidance and technical support of the Textiles Committee, Polo Shirts Ralph Lauren Sale under the Integrated Handloom Cluster Development Scheme of the Office of Development Commissioner – Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.”
Informing about the handloom denim products made by DCI, he says, “Denim Club India has created a range of hi-fashion apparel, including shirts, jackets, formal coats, dresses, Jodhpur pants, and much more from the handloom denim fabric. Talking about promotion and commercial launch of handloom denim items, he says, “For the first time, the denim fabric range as well as some handloom denim garments were showcased at the Textiles Committee stall at Tex Trends India exhibition, held in New Delhi in January this year.
